From ruined courts and no storage facilities the club has transformed. The $64,000 HGA grant means the community can now enjoy their sport.
The $100,000 HGA grant allowed these young girls to live out their footy dreams, they now have girl’s facilities. Hope to see them on the AFLW stage in the future!
Everyone wants to be able to play sport, the $100,000 HGA grant has gone to speedy and sporty new wheelchairs for these kids.
Basically, any sporting club or community organisation that runs or supports sporting activities can apply. But to make sure, just check out our rules and guidelines.

You can apply for any amount up to the full $250,000 - but it would have to be an exceptional project for us to award all the funds to a single club. Keep in mind, the average value awarded so far is $12,500.
We want the grants to have the biggest impact they can.

Yes. You might want to apply for a big project, as well as a smaller project, and submit an application for each.
All applications are individually assessed by the Holden Home Ground Advantage team based on its merit relative to the other applications in that particular round.

No. The Home Ground Advantage team are not able to help clubs fill out applications because that would give clubs the wrong kind of advantage.
Yes. We encourage you to apply again as each round is very different and assessed independently of previous rounds. Not being successful in one round doesn’t impact your chances of success in future rounds.
Home Ground Advantage grants are exclusive of GST. Where the grant recipient is registered for GST, Holden will pay the grant and the applicable GST. Where the grant recipient is not registered for GST, the GST amount will not be added to the grant.
